We are pleased to have Megan Suau visit with CollegePlus and to share her experiences of how God worked through her, the mission team and the people of Uganda.
CollegePlus is a Young Adult Ministry who meet Sunday evenings, 7-9 PM at New Beginnings Church which is located just east of Stagg High School in Palos Hills. Come and listen to her story and hear how God is at work in Uganda.
Megan is 24 years old and lives in Venice, Florida with her parents, Steve and Diane. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2009 with a degree in Design from the School of Architecture.
Megan delayed plans for graduate school because she felt called to serve in a developing country and so she applied for an internship with Engineering ministries International.
Engineering Ministries International is a non-profit Christian development organization made up of architects, engineers and design professionals who donate their skills tohelp children and families around the world sep out of poverty and into a world of hope.
In January of 2010, Megan began her training in Colorado Springs and then set out with a group of young professionals to Uganda for a 6 month assignment. Near the end of her stay, Megan realized her work was not yet completed and she signed up for another 6 month assignment.
This fall, Megan will be heading off to graduate school to pursue a masters degree in architecture with plans to further apply her skills to developing countries.
We are pleased to have Megan visit with CollegePlus to share her experiences of how God worked through her, the mission team and the people of Uganda.
